The leadership team at Gaedeke Energy blends expertise in land management, operations, finance, and geoscience. Gaedeke Energy is a team of professionals who share a proven track record in energy development and a commitment to long-term gains.


Sabine Gaedeke Stener oversees the operations of Gaedeke Group as well as the oil and gas investments and activities of Gaedeke Energy and Gaedeke Holdings, Ltd. Prior to founding Gaedeke Group, Ms. Stener served as the director of marketing for a major division of Bertelsmann AG, one of the world's largest international multimedia companies. Ms. Stener received her post-graduate degrees in marketing, psychology, and international management from the University of Hamburg, Germany.



Mark H. Reed leads the Gaedeke Energy team with his strong operational background and experience in contract negotiations and business development. Mr. Reed has also served as a member of the Gaedeke Group senior management team since the firm was founded in 1995.  He has a bachelor's degree in geology from Texas Tech University.



Glenn S. Lickstein has been a member of the Gaedeke Group senior management team since the firm was founded. Prior to his involvement with Gaedeke Group, Mr. Lickstein was responsible for the treasury and accounting functions of Performance Properties, LLC. He also provided investor reporting, risk management, and other services for SHL Management Company's portfolio of over 10,000 apartment units and 2 million square feet of office space. Mr. Lickstein has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.



Julie E. Lennon serves as General Counsel to Gaedeke Group. Ms. Lennon joined Gaedeke Group in January 2010. She is a former partner with the international law firm, K&L Gates, LLP, representing both private and publicly held companies during a twelve-year career with the firm. Ms. Lennon's practice has been focused on commercial real estate and oil & gas transactions. Ms. Lennon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Laws degree from New York University. She is admitted to practice law in Texas and Mississippi.


Code L. Williams, Vice President of Land

Code L. Williams joined Gaedeke Energy in 2012 as Senior Landman. Code studied Petroleum Land Management at Texas Tech University and comes to Gaedeke with 8 years of industry experience. After graduation, Code spent 3 years in the land department for Anadarko Petroleum before moving to Jones Energy as a Senior Landman. While at Jones Energy, Code gained extensive experience in field brokerage, land and title, and mergers and acquisitions. Code's current responsibilities consist of title negotiation, curative, leasing, due diligence, acquisitions, and operations. Code continues to stay involved with industry organizations such as AAPL and DAPL.


Virginia Urban Light, Vice President, Reservoir Engineering and Evaluations

Before joining the Gaedeke Energy team in 2014, Virginia Light was a Project Engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton (D&M). While at D&M, she worked in the firm’s Central Europe and Asia Division, specializing in the estimation and appraisal of reserves in Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. Prior to joining D&M, Mrs. Light practiced law as an oil and gas title attorney. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering as well as a Minor in Dance from Texas A&M University. Mrs. Light received her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law and is a licensed attorney admitted to the State Bar of Texas.


Donna Leaumont, Financial Controller

Donna Leaumont joined the Gaedeke Energy team in 2010.  She has more than 25 years of oil and gas accounting experience, specifically as a financial reporting manager, treasury manager, and various general accounting positions. Currently she oversees the accounting department of Gaedeke Energy. Ms. Leaumont holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. In addition, she is a Texas Certified Public Accountant.


Robyn Athas, Controller

Robyn Athas joined Gaedeke Energy in 2012 as Controller. Robyn has more than 20 years of oil and gas accounting experience. Her career started at Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PwC) in Tulsa, OK. Since leaving public accounting, Robyn’s accounting experience has included financial reporting, treasury management, production reporting management, acquisitions, divestitures and various other accounting responsibilities. Robyn currently oversees the accounting for Gaedeke Energy’s North Dakota assets. Ms. Athas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Oklahoma State University. Robyn is a Texas licensed Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Dallas society of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies.


Bruce Harman, Harman & Sons, Inc. Operations Contractor

Bruce Harman is the principal of Harman & Sons, Inc. Mr. Harman has been in the oil and gas business for over 40 years. He worked his way up through the industry, eventually serving as owner/operator of his own drilling company, which he sold in 1992. He has successfully managed many exploration and drilling projects, including vertical and horizontal wells, and has a solid track record of keeping drilling times low and project costs in check.
